Providing and enhancing rehabilitation services for second generation victims of torture and war

This international study is conducted in four countries and is funded by the European Community. It is an international research project among second generation of victims of torture and political persecution.

Next to the Netherlands, Bulgaria, South Africa and Argentinia participate in this research collaboration with the aim to identify characteristics and difficulties of second generation victims of war, to invest diagnostic possibilities of their problems and to determine the 'best practices' in treatment. (Coordinator -, clinical psychologist and researcher; in collaboration with drs. M. Sleijpen and prof. dr. R. Kleber).
