EMDR is internationally considered a 'treatment of choice' for type-I trauma. It is unclear whether EMDR is equally effective in the treatment of traumatised asylum seekers and refugees, who often suffer from more complex forms of trauma.

Providing and enhancing rehabilitation services for second generation victims of torture and war

This international study is conducted in four countries and is funded by the European Community. It is an international research project among second generation of victims of torture and political persecution.
