Annelieke Drogendijk, PhD is Director of ARQ Centre of Expertise for the Impact of Disasters and Crises, Partner in ARQ National Psychotrauma Centre, Dr. Drogendijk is head of the ARQ crisis team. She advises the Dutch Government and local crisis structures. Drogendijk is founder of the MHPSS Support Point for the bereaved after the plane crash in the Ukraine MH17. She leads several EU- and nationally funded projects to enhance resilience and preparation of mental health programs in the field of psychosocial consequences of disasters. She is a psychologist and her field of expertise is cultural differences in psychosocial consequences after disasters and the organisation of aftercare after crisis and disasters. She publishes and presents her work both in national and international (scientific) journals and conferences.
