Jeroen Knipscheer

Jeroen W. Knipscheer is Senior Researcher at ARQ Centrum ’45 | ARQ National Psychotrauma Centre and Assistant Professor at the Department of Clinical Psychology, Utrecht University. He also works as psychotherapist/cognitive behavioral therapist at both institutions. In addition, he is editor-in-chief of Impact Magazine, the national journal on psychosocial consequences of trauma. His research and teaching fields are: cross-cultural aspects of stressful and traumatic experiences, effectiveness of services provided to culturally diverse populations and the development of culturally sensitive methods to treat non-western trauma survivors.
