Identifying predictors of treatment success, treatment failure and attendance of treatment by veterans with PTSD
PhD Research: Joris Haagen MSc
Supervisors: Prof. dr. R. J. Kleber and Dr. J. W. Knipscheer
Financing: Arq Research and University of Utrecht.
Aim: To identify predictors of treatment success, treatment failure and attendance of treatment by veterans with PTSD. A secondary goal is the identification of the treatment effectiveness, dropouts and attendance at the various treatment classes.
Since 1 Jan 2013 data are collected, with a target of N = 200. All veterans who have since started at Centrum '45 are involved in the research. As from September 2014 research will be extended to all four MGGZ institutions and other Mental Health Institutes. Currently we are working on an article about "predicting PTSD severity after pregnancy," and a meta-analysis article on predictors of treatment course.
